Wow! After nearly a year and a half of planning and making decisions, we are finally ready to remodel our home on Redwood Lane. After signing contracts and confirming contractors, picking out our cabinets and ordering appliances we are ready to start construction on February 1st. (assuming the city approvals all the plans).

During this big undertaking, we have decided to move out of the house during the construction. So yesterday, we signed a 3 month lease to move to a temporary apartment. It's a perfect location, just minutes from our house, giving us the opportunity to swing by the house to watch he progress. It happens to be right behind our church, Beach Cities Community Church. We are looking forward to walking to church and our many church activities throughout the week. Olivia is super excited to be moving into the apartment and can't wait for the move. She went with me to tour different apartments, and offered a lot of advise in picking just the right one for our family.

Please pray for us, that God will humble us during this experience. As we move from our comfortable 4 bedroom house to a small two bedroom apartment. We are going to take only the bare minimum, leaving big toys behind, including (gasp) the Wii.
